Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and French President Nicolas Sarkozy have been given a baby gift from AUSTRALIA – A designer cardigan!
Their newborn baby girl Giulia was born on October 23rd and was recently taken home from hospital for the first time.
Giulia, the first baby to be born to a sitting French President received a Collette Dinnigan cardigan from Australia’s Prime Minister Julia Gillard, after meeting with Mr Sarkozy and other leaders of G20 nations in the French resort town of Cannes this week.
British Prime Minister David Cameron gave a pink baby blanket whilst German Chancellor Angela Merkel offered a cute teddy bear.
